As Search engines are constantly updating their algorithms and layouts, SEO Report rely on a small text-based file (we'll call it a script file) to be able to properly parse search engines results.

Normally, you don't need to update this file as long as the results are parsed correctly.

Our team is constantly monitoring any changes and updating SEO Report as well as this script file when needed. It's strongly recommended to update Search Engine Data when you detect something wrong in the parsed results.

How to know when an update is needed ?

Simple, if SEO Report fails to get ranking, or Ranking Details panel shows something like :

../rds.yahoo.com/S=2766679/K=css+download/v=2/SID=e/l=WS1/R=3/H=0/IPC=tn/SHE=0/SIG=119fjpigs/_2A-http_253A/www.htmlhelp.com/

Then obviously you need to update the script file!
