Well I've reached a point with this web-site where I will brave putting
it up for consideration here

It's essentially an "all about me" web-site.

I used to have it up years ago, then it was all old school tables
layout with the FONT tag everywhere.

This is very much revamped and I've tried to do as much as I can with
CSS and go with a liquid approach.

I have a question which is: does transparency in .png files work with
IE 6?

They don't seem to work on the IE 6 that I've used to have a look at
this web-site. For the .png files I've used changing back the .gif is
more unpleasant than losing the transparency in IE 6.
