www.odd-info.com - please let me know your thoughts about it. I'm
especially looking for a look that's easy to maintain, does not
interfere with a wide variety of possible content, looks good on all
computers, yet will help as much as possible in bringing people back
to the site. Your thoughts?
- Jeff

I like it - think it's very attractive, but why is there so much space at
the bottom?

The page is not bad, except the main page has 8 screens of nothing.

There are only 7 errors on you page according to the W3C, not to bad
at all.

Just one question about the "Weights and Measures" page, where are the
metric conversions of what you have listed?

Cheers,
Colin

Free counter, perhaps.

Welcome to 1999

It's not badly done. At least it's not 1997.

Learn CSS and ditch the layout tables. There's a lot more sheer volume
in that HTML than needs to be, if done efficiently, and that always
hurts when it comes time to change something.

Lose the <table> layout in favour of something done with floated block
elements (<div> or <li>), and have it be a bit smarter for varying
window sizes (including mobiles) so that the number of columns isn't
rigidly fixed.

It still looks like 1999

You're not Google, you're not Wikipedia, so what are you offering? If
you have Google's content, you can look like crap. If you're not in
that league, you have to look nicer. If you aren't pitching _anything_
that I want and can't get more easily elsewhere, why am I going to
come visit?

If you're touting "cute time-wasters" these days, you really need to
address that small-screen mobile market.

Like the simplicity, hate the look. The background gives me a
headache.

You demure? Have you no artistic aestheticism? All right, the white
background _could_ be a little more subdued as a glare-reducing tactic, but
it isn't any worse than reading text on the typical newsreader.

you used front page? bless.

can you code html and css? it would be good to take some time and
learn so you can chop out code thats not needed also might be good for
you to look into hiring a graphic designer to draw up some mockups of
layouts especially if this is a money making enterprise then you can
simply focus on keeping the website up to date.
