Default websites Jurassic and Handson - 07-25-2006 , 06:55 AM

I have two websites that I would value comment on so thanks to everyone
who can spare the time to look them over.

www.jurassicweblink.co.uk and www.handsonict.com

Hi.
I have only looked at your second url.
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...&outline=1
You might also want to view.
http://dev.wave.webaim.org/Output.js...e.html&md=nils
I also don't like the main background image in the body of the page,
it's glary and makes the text harder to read.
I would also recommend that you drop the use of Tables for layout, they
are only ment for tabular data.

www.jurassicweblink.co.uk and www.handsonict.com
Both use antiquated markup.

Both do not fit in my browser window, requiring a horizontal scrollbar.

Neither validates.

<URL:http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.jurassicwebli nk.co.uk%2Fhome.html>

On the Jurassic site, that large squiggly line graphic is pointless.

Fixed size fonts.

What are all the hyphens for?

Or, on mine, leave wide empty margins.

Isn't it a coastline, as in "Web-linking the Jurassic Coast
Country"? (It matches the photo, too.)

Exactly; the links in the left column are too small to read
comfortably. (Small items CAN comfortably be smaller than blocks of
text, but use a relative size; generally no smaller than 85% or
.85em.)
