It's obvious that graphic design is not your first love.
Wow,.. you guys cant anymore brutal!! |
Please don't top post. Thanks for your cooperation.
Sorry if we appear brutal, but the site is very badly designed. All the
crap that FrontPage generates just makes it worse. I only got a look at
your home page and a glance at the Solutions page before the site
stopped responding altogether so can only judge based on those two
pages. Are you on a crappy server or did you take the site down already?

Networking and CAD designs,.... not HTML,... please give me some credit!!! |
Your home page does not make it clear that networking and CAD designs
are the basic offerings. That graphic that poses as text mentions "the
internet and anything related", which to me includes web stuff. There
is no mention of CAD at all. You need to clarify exactly what it is you
do, and do it on the home page because that's what most visitors will
see first. Most won't bother digging deeper to get that kind of info.
The text in the graphics looks pretty bad. Your graphics are not
optimized for the web, either, so the page is slow to load. On the home
page, the font size in that paragraph below the image is so small I can
just barely read it if I get real close to the monitor. You should not
be using graphics for text, except in a logo and _maybe_ headings.
Any graphics you do use need appropriate alt text. Alt text is what a
search engine will index in lieu of text. Plain text is better, of
course. Right now there is very little on your home page for a SE to
index - basically just the company name and links to other pages, but
nothing about the company itself.
The various colors don't mix well. Even though I'm bored with keyboard
images, the one you have is mildly interesting but is surrounded by
cheesy graphics that make the whole thing look very amateurish. The
animated horse has to go! A sample of your CAD work would probably be a
better graphic for your masthead than a stock photo anyway. Decide what
you are selling, then give it the prominence it requires.
I could go on, but I'll refrain. The bottom line is I suggest you don't
design your own site. You should definitely not maintain it in FP
unless you completely disable all FP extensions. They are evil.
