* Alt text missing
* Interesting font embedded in graphics. Its mostly unreadable
* Dumb ids for elements (Layer1 for example)
* Dark text on dark background image in some places
- no correction. Dark text layered on top of dark foreground image in come
places.
* You seem to be focused on websites for religion groups, but your imagery
doesn't reflect this and you make no mention of this on the homepage.
* The title for every page is the same
* Have you tried listening to that title in a screen reader? I have no idea
how it would pronouce "vision2sight", but "bee ee ess ee ee een" is just
nasty.

Oh! Pretty!!

It loads very slowly, though - far too slow - I have a cable modem, and
your page seemed like Dialup at my end.

Damn - that "post-it note" theme is really engaging, but you lose my
interest here:
http://www.vision2sight.com/graphicdesign.htm
The irony of the text (form, layout and content) make me believe that you
are using a template. It doesn't help that your page does not validate. All
that Javascript! Your page will choke if I turn it off, and you never
learned to link files?

Keep that theme, it's great!

The rest of the site design needs a lot of work, though.

You could give them sensible names, or not name them at all if you are only
using inline style without JS manipulation.

The trouble with using fonts embeeded in text is that they entirely ignore
the end users's font size preferences and are a PITA to zoom on most
systems.

I'm on 1280x1024, 19inch as well, and even though I can
pretty easily read the 'handwritten' stuff on the homepage,
I think that's only 'cause I recognise the words. The phone
number at the top is really difficult to decipher.

Also the text on the other pages is way too small, and I
don't say that quickly. I have very good eyesight, but I had
to get closer to my monitor. Enlarging the text makes it run
over the images.

Don't know if you checked the text for spelling mistakes,
but there are quite a few, including missing spaces after
commas, which makes it look like you put it together in 20
minutes before you had to catch a flight or something ;-)

I think you could do with less text, and making the font
bigger. On 'web development' you are repeating sentences
from 'graphic design', I thought I was reading the same
stuff again. (Well, in a way I was, of course :-) )

I actually like the 'front' page, but reading the text with
the mistakes in it, makes me doubt if you can do the job
right. I know, writing isn't designing, but it just gives a
'hurry-for-the-deadline' impression.

Oh, and please don't toppost.
Bottomposting gives you more answers. ;-)

Great advice on the copy though, especially saying the same

True, but be careful with what you repeat and how. But don't
worry, I'll wait for the final product and see then ;-)

Good stuff, thanks.

The elements were created simply so I could layout the page the way I
wanted...is this desirable or is there a better way?

What browser, and screen size are you on? Can't have things
unreadable...looks okay on my screen by my screen isn't the important one.

I've struggled with the imagery as well...just having a hard time tieing it
together.

Thanks for the input.

Keep it coming everyone!

There's little scrolling if you trim enough, and also you
don't have to guess to which parts the replies apply.
