Default University Site - 03-22-2007 , 08:37 PM

Hi,

I have volunteered to help out with my University web site and using one
of my own templates I have started producing what will be a 5-6 page site:

http://people.aapt.net.au/~adjlstrong/golden_key.html

This is its temporary home of course, with CSS still in the head. Please
give me any suggestions to improve this beginning page.

The main Uni site is:
http://www.une.edu.au/
and the pages I will hopefully be replacing are at:
http://www-prod.une.edu.au/goldenkey/
Scary eh?

Andrew

I had a look at your site yesterday Andrew and the old site, and yours
is a lot better. But I did think it was a little plain looking, maybe
you could add a little extra colour to the site, maybe a dark blue
around the edge of the site, eg around the entire page or something,
just to make it look a little more polished.
But the layout looks good and is nice and flexible.

I would put that CSS in its own file so all the pages could use it --
the pages are so similar. The site is extremely clean, I like it.

I agree about the extra color. Just the headers and the borders would be
enough.

Hi Chaddy,

Thanks very much for your time. I will incorporate your suggestion + add
a little color to the h1-6 elements as has been suggested by another post.
