Default Test page - 11-01-2003 , 02:25 PM

I believe that I've solved the problem. I'd be grateful for confirmation.
It's just this one page right now.
Thank you, everyone. I don't mean to be obstreperous!

By the way, the links on that page do not work, because they're going to a
new domain that will be in operation next week. The old site is at the old
address.

Many thanks (even for yelling at me). ; )

I thought the margin-right in the left col had to be x, and that the
margin-lef in the middle col had to also be x.

Is that what is wrong? It doesn't seem to work in Mozilla.

Well, you *can* do it with margins. I myself prefer the approach with
floating boxes like in http://www.nicoschuyt.nl/test/bonnie_test.htm

Nico,

I think it was yours -- this very one -- that I used and then I thought I
could get away with moving the picture closer to the main section. I think I
may go back to it. This is apparently a problem for a lot of people. I've
seen several sites showing people struggling with two-column layouts.

Thanks very much.

Nico, I managed to get the picture next to the main area, and holds up just
as well as your original, which overlapped when the window is very small,
also.

Thanks, again. What do you think?

Nico,

Your page looked much like this when the window was made this small, so I
think this may be the best I can do:

http://www.editors-writers.info/homemoz110103.gif

Full page version:

http://www.editors-writers.info/homemozfull110103.gif

I like this a lot. ; ) But apparently, there's no way to get rid of the
overlapping. Even the finest of pages and templates have the same thing
happen to them. I spent considerable time today researching this issue.

If there's anything else I could do, I'm open to hearing.
