Default Site Check - 10-13-2005 , 08:26 PM

Hi,

I'm doing a site for someone who wants it ugly. He wants to reproduce the
look and feel of those direct mail sales letters many of us send to the
waste bin.

I have two versions:

http://www.inkworkswell.com/clients/..._template.html
http://www.inkworkswell.com/clients/...ate_right.html

I'm worried the CSS won't work in various configurations of the Mac OS and
its more popular browsers.

Thanks,

Kelley

I didn't check with IE5.

Hey, thanks Leo. I've seen some odd results with IE5 on a Mac before --
with other sites I've designed. Hopefully, I've avoided that since they
were usually fluid CSS three column box models. With only two columns, I
think it'll be less of a challenge.

Again, thanks a lot.

Hi, Kelley, I checked it out. (Its content is very relevant to my situation
also.) But while I'm reading, the screen after about a minute or so jumps
back up to the top so I have to scroll back down to where I was reading.
This is not a good browsing experience. Do you know what is causing this?
I was using iE6 on a Windoze platform.

Otherwise, I think the site looks great. The right mixture of kitsch like
you want but no jarring colors, very easy on the eye.

Aack, I viewed your source. Why do you have a refresh set for every 60
seconds? Is this just on your testbed site?
