I would like to know how you guys think I can improve my website.

Apart from any other issues mentioned by others....

The links on the left all look as if they go to other pages on the
website but some go to other web sites. It should be made clear if
links are to external sites.

When following those links that do go to other pages on your site, there
is no link to get back. In fact, these other pages do not seem to have
links to any other pages. As well as being annoying for the visitor,
what will happen if somebody arrives at one of those pages directly from
Google? How will they get to your home page or to other pages?

Then I clicked on the "Humanoid" image. (There ought to be a text link
to that section as well as an image.) I am now thoroughly annoyed with
your site as I couldn't get off that page. A pop up asked for my log-in
details. As I haven't got any, I tried to cancel and return to the home
page, but the pop-up kept popping up again before I could get to the
back button. There must be a better way to handle that - for example, to
have to log in panel as part of the page rather than as a pop-up.

On the home page, I would prefer to see the image put into the
navigation <div> rather than being a background image to the page, as
the links, being the same colour as the image, become harder to read
when they move up over the image. There is a lot of empty space on the
home page. There is no reason why you couldn't fit all of the content
onto the page without any need for scrolling.

Also each page of the site has a totally different design, layout and
colour scheme. It would look better (and be easier to use) if you have
the same style throughout.

Sorry it all sounds rather critical but you did ask for ways to improve
it!
