critique my drab greypages site

Critique my site http://jidanni.org/ (as soon as affordablehost.com
plugs the "europa" server back in) My site's emphasis is on using
handcrafted valid html and no glitz. Mostly greypages underneath. One
thing I ought to add are links to that level's ./index.html on each
page. Mainly tell me if I still haven't achieved anybrowser.org ideals.

I believe the problem is AffordableHost. I hear they've had lots of
downtime lately.
