To the regulars on the group

Hey there! I've been here for about 2 or 3 years, on and off, lurking
and being away, but I've noticed that over time, some of the posts here
are beginning to sound nasty, almost making fun of some of the new
people that post here with a question. Some of these questions are
simple, yes, and it must become very tiring when users do not read the
FAQ or do not bother doing a search first. However, if you are going to
help them, please remember that whilst you have been here for months,
even years answering the same questions, to the new user, this is their
first time.

I'm a little drunk at the moment, so I've forgotten where I was going

This isn't aimed at any one person in particular, so please do not feel
