Default Red X on Image when opening a html document. - 01-16-2006 , 07:25 PM

Hello All,

I have a word document with images and text that I converted to htm. I
emailed the htm document as an attachment. When the document is opened
there is a red X where the image should be. Same thing happens when the
html document is opened with Microsoft word. I am using Word 2003. Any
suggestions/ideas?

Please help!!!

Thanks

Is there a site you would like us to critique? That is what this
newsgroup does.

To answer your question: the red x indicates a broken link. The browser
cannot find the document with the provided URL. MS Word output notoriously
poor HTML.
You best bet is a Microsoft support group of some sort.

Did you email the images along with it?

Chances are the recipient wouldn't be able to see it anyway. Emailing a
web page isn't a particularly good idea.
