Aesthetics... I don't like to see Serif and Sans Serif fonts mixed up, looks
messy and makes it more difficult to read.

Known issues:

- Background image a little hefty.

- In IE prior to 6.0, at low browser widths (below 600px), the
side bar drops down below the content in.
I Won't tell anyone

- Opera 3.x-5.x is smart enough to find the PNG background (a
GIF is provided for stupid browsers -- i.e. IE) but not
smart enough to alpha-blend. Anyone know a CSS hack to
differentiate between Opera < 6 and Opera >= 6?
I Spotted something on alistapart awhile back, I could google but I'm sure
others have provided a solution by now.

Any opinions on visual improvements, accessibility and/or cross-browser

That picture looks to be about 400+ CDs, which is about the same as mine.
I don't keep mine in jewel cases though -- take up too much space.

However, when you include these babies, my collection is around 1000
CDs... http://tobyinkster.co.uk/bootleg.cgi...=frameset&js=1

........ just love the use of frames and pop-ups ;-)

(Pity about the lack of <noframes></noframes>, though)

regards.
