Tis better to just ignore these spam messages. Many news services
filter these out, so their users never even know they exist unless
somebody responds to one.

If you want to complain about spam on usenet, you might send it to your
ISP instead. Maybe they'll add it to their spam filter. thanks

address is considered spam and automatically deleted.

I use AT&T. Their spam filter is spectacularly ineffective.

Even my e-mail accounts that NO ONE has ever seen, brand new, collect up to
ten spams a day - WITH the AT&T spam filter on. I'm curious as to how much
spam I'd get with the filter off.

Go to the email options and change the setting to have spam "held for
review." It will then reside in the Screened Mail folder for three
days before auto-delete. Then by viewing what's in that folder, you'll
get to compare amounts and see the percentage it catches. I'm an
att.net user as well, and it catches usually around 90%.
