I gave up counting at 5 cookies - what information could you possibly want

I think it might be the animated gifs, music, amount of links that don't
work, the large amount of confusing underlined text, etc.

Besides the unasked-for music, mass of cookies, flashing geegaws that
detract attention, hard-to-read bold italic underlined text, you want
to LOAD COMET CURSOR SPYWARE ON MY PC?

<script type="text/javascript"
src="/~site/Scripts_ExternalRedirect/ExternalRedirect.dll?CMD=CMDGetJavaScript&amp;H_SI TEID=co&amp;H_AltURL=~site/Elements/CometCursors/CometCursors.js&amp;HSGOTOURL=http://files.cometsystems.com/javascript/hep1_0.js">
</script>

Fortunately, I normally surf with JavaScript turned off. Others here
who viewed the site may want to check for the spyware.

Don't waste your time promoting this site. Please click Delete All,
and begin anew, using some valid design and layout principles.

(I wouldn't have bothered to reply until I saw the Comet Cursor.)

Please, please do yourself and everyone else a favor and leave
homestead.com immediately. It is the worst POS tool to build a web page
that I have ever seen.

In an earlier thread on web forums passing off usenet content as their
own, I mentioned that there were at least 2. I've since found others.
Well, I found 3 forums:

http://www.html-chat.com/html/ (alt.html)
http://www.forum4designers.com/ (differnt NG's)

There are gardening ones which have suddenly appeared too, some which
acknowledge their feed from uk.rec.gardening but some which don't,
much to the annoyance of the regular posters there. Someone must have
suggested this as a good idea somewhere.
