I'm not enamored by the stark white content background on a basically
mud colored site background. Nor by the size constraints of the main
content. I just decreased the window size, and I still don't like the
contrast. Now, let's check increasing text size. Not bad! I despise the
busy mud colored background. I'm no graphics person, but those colors
simply have to hate each other on a color wheel.
My two cents to a person who knows how these things work ;-)
