Default Please critique this three page site - 03-13-2006 , 04:56 AM

I was asked to create an initial website, and then when I had done so, was
told that it wasn't what they wanted. After much discussion, I let them
step me through to get exactly what they wanted as quickly as possible. I
am biased, about the page. The html is garbage, including tables for
layout. The page just looks bad with a useless 'GO' to the left of the
menu, and lots more, however it is close to their brochure.

Can anyone give me an unbiased critique of the three pages, that I can then
take back to the client?

Thanks, Carolyn

Boring, boring, boring.

It's not bad. It's competently done, the coding is far from "garbage"
But it's _boring_, particularly the battleship grey colour choices and
the bordered table cells. Their logo is getting wiped out in the detail
too, particularly the small copies. The whole thing shouts 1997.

I'd want to see a single product page before I commented further. The
images are a good size for thumbnails in a multi-product list, but I'd
want bigger (and logo closeups) before I spent money.

"Coming in May 2006" looks bad. Especially in June 8-)

It's not a complicated page. It doesn't look bad because it _can't_
look bad (OK, I know there are "designers" who could achieve even
this). But nor is it really selling itself to me
