Hmmm... I see what you mean. I have never been sure about font selection
with this site, particularly as the audience will largely be from linux
which I was keen to cater for. Font choice is:

font-family: "Lucida Grande", "Trebuchet MS", Helvetica, Arial,
sans-serif;

which may be a little bizarre I guess. I shall investigate.

Installation of Windows fonts seems to have corrected the problem that
Opera was having with your and other sites.

I have been trawling around linux specific sites looking for a
standard, good-looking linux-specific font without much luck.
