Default Please critique my photowebsite ! - 07-25-2009 , 04:02 PM






I'm don't know much about html or so, but using Jalbum and a text
editor I've put together my very first website : www.nordiclandscapes.com.
It would be great if you could critique it !

There is not enough contrast in the header text (Photography by Nicolas
Lietaer) and in the selected navigation item. On my monitor it appears as
dark red on black, which is almost impossible to read.

Love the pictures!

Gorgeous photography! I always wanted to travel through Scandinavia anyway,
but now I do even more.

Just to echo the previous statement that red on black is not a great idea.
Maybe use cyan for those elements?

And I think the navigation from within the photographs could have bigger
buttons.

If this really is your first site, you've done an excellent job.

Hmmm.... pitty, I really liked the dark red colour... but I guess I
