Default Phantom Black lines - 07-18-2006 , 12:04 PM

Hey Now - I have a client that claims that he is seeing mysterious
black lines in the middle of a site that I designed for him.

http://www.jtkconsulting.com/ThemeTest/

He also claims that he can see the black lines at browser shots:
http://v03.browsershots.org/website/...e.com/#success

I have asked some friends to check it out, but they are not reporting
anything out of the ordinary. Could a couple of you folks do me a
solid and check it out and post your results.

Thanks in advance,

JTk

Neither here.
Are you sure it's not just confusion with the gray border-bottom surrounding
the div.post's?

Maybe the client is using a Trintron monitor? Great monitors, but they do
sport two large stripes across screen.

The site looks ok on my 1280x768 LCD screen.
Though the font for the main body text seams a bit small, though I
noticed that it can be inlarged by IE, without the accessibility
settings enabled. Maybe you should consider setting the main body text
to 100% and let the user choose, (although you might need to fix the
layout if you do that), depends on if it gets to messed up at really
large fonts.
