Meanwhile, one of my delightful clients just sent me some work, so I
am incredibly pleased.

neat. so now we can all see 10,000 iterations of someone else's site
for a change

I don't do Web sites for clients, Karl. I am an editor and writer.
Speaking
of editing, you should have a fresh pair of eyes read your site to catch
the
errors that I saw there, even in a very short and casual review.
I don't write for web sites, Bonnie.

You should have a fresh HTML/CSS author redesign your site to catch the
errors that you ask about here a thousand times a day.

In addition -
If you think that you're qualified to write for the web, you are sadly
mistaken.
Having good grammar does not mean you can automatically write for the web as
well.
People don't read the same off of a screen the same as they do on paper, and
you are hands-down ripping anyone off who hires you to write for their
website, because you are unqualified to do so.

I drew that in Ultimate Paint. I wanted some graphics on the site, and
couldn't find anything suitable.
I think it looks good.

You wrote your own site's content, and that's what I am saying should be
read by a friend, or someone who can catch the errors. Now, I'm not saying
there are lots of them, but there are several.

I'm sorry to have made a nuisance of myself.

I am qualified to write, as my Web site states, "engaging text that speaks
directly to your visitors and clearly explains your company's identity and
goals."

However, if you want to point out some specific area in which I fall down
with regard to this, I'm open to hearing about it privately.

Again, I am sorry for bothering the list with all my questions, and I will
find other ways to get opinions about my site.

Thank you, Karl. I appreciate your honesty.
