This is bedeviling me. The site looks fine (it's a testbed for a client's project) in Opera 8.5 and Firefox. It looks like a dog's breakfast in IE6. I can't get that right sidebar up to the top on the right where it belongs. http://mytestbed.com/wordpress-beta/ I've been fighting with first trying to make this a mortised site using tables for layout, and it behaved even worse. There are so many graphic elements, and I can't get them to behave on their own so I created one honking 918x10 tiled (repeat-y) background for the entire 918px-wide wrapper division. There are three divisions inside the wrapper, the leftcol (206px), the centercol (480px) and the (misbehaving) rightcol (232px). The leftcol and centercol are floated left, the rightcol is floated right (floating left drops it down below the leftcol. Help me before I go bald! Try to validaten the page. |
