http://www.cerberus.com.au/
Here's a site worth looking at - a historically important early
"turret ship" from the 1860s, HMVS Cerberus was scuttled to form a
breakwater near Melbourne in 1926. It's now one of the most derelict
pieces of recent history I've seen where there is a serious interest
in trying to preserve it further.
Unfortunately the web site is one of the most polluted I've ever seen
for spurious gewgaws of no benefit. It's just surprising they did it
without Flash. Badly resized and unreadable images, most of the
interesting text content (old newspaper reports) are in a huge PDF
that's unsearchable, and the foullest navigation I've seen in years.
What a shame - this deserves to be a nice site.
