Hi there,
I'd really appreciate any feedback for my new site: http://www.billybargain.co.uk I've tried to make it fast, simple and
comprehensive.
Many thanks in advance

Can I be frank?
I don't like the domain name for a start. It sounds a bit half-witted. I just
can't see people bragging about the great deals they got at "Billy Bargain
dot co dot uk". Don't expect many word-of-mouth referrals.
There isn't much text on the home page, which means there isn't much for the
search engines to feed on. Your punctuation errors create a bad first
impression, too. Try moving the apostrophe from "DVD's" to "childrens" for a
start.
Your search facility is utter pants. I searched for "Titanic", and was
presented with a load of irrelevant crap. The James Cameron film of 1997
ended up at the end of your results at the bottom of page 2. The same thing
happens when you search for "Crash". (In case you haven't heard of it, it's a
rather popular film that came out on DVD last year.) How do I restrict a
search to a particular genre, or to a particular director? If you can't get
this working properly then your site will remain almost useless, IMHO.
Your search results for "Incredibles" were better, but the "Full details"
link leads to a page entirely taken up by a very long-winded review, followed
by some links to sites with different prices to the ones listed in your site.
The default alphabetical listing that appears when you click on a movie genre
is a bit pointless, unless you think people are more likely to be looking for
films that start with the letter "A" when they choose a genre. You need to be
a lot more creative than that.
Visually, the design is ugly and amateurish. Are you actually allowed to use
all those logos on your home page?
If you want some constructive ideas, I suggest you download yourself a copy
of iTunes and learn how to do interfaces properly. You also need to think
about how to make your website more attractive than the competition (e.g.,
froogle).
