Oh, it's just obfuscated Mac OS which in turn is obfuscated
Xerox Smalltalk. Just put it through your deobfuscator, and keep that
glassware moving my way.

Ah yes. And Microsoft has made all its software open source. Pass
that bottle back over here. I like it!
And the Operating System is free and constantly developed by skilled
and friendly people who also lavish great attention on personal pieces
of software and then also give these back to the community for
further development ....

Hmmmm...... actually this is happening he thinks, passing the bottle
around, :-)

I'm thinking of updating my portfolio site again and would like to hear
what
you think. You'll notice two or three phases of web philosophy here, and
now, since we've been in another phase for about year now, I would be
interested in your thoughts.
The old site is at http://www.etonys.com .
Thanks.

Flash sites hurt my brain. I keep flash installed just so I dont miss out on
anything, but most designers are lazy and use flash as a way of forcing
there work on to the web rather than working with the media. Take a look at
http://www.csszengarden.com to see what I mean. I would never hire a
designer with a Flash site.

Nore would I. I took a look at the OP's site and thaught it was a pile
a shite. Oh and useles. I could not read any of it. Oh and it's not
legal in some countries eather (the Aus DDA comes to mind here).

I agree, the odd Flash movie is fine to show off, but an entire site is a
no no in my book. A good artist nows the limitaions of canvas and doesnt
try to force thord party aplications on his/her users.

Why? There is customers who needs Flash made sites like artists and those
who needs AdSite for their movie. These sites needs to do high graphical
skills and lot of skills with Flash.

Ahh yes, but browser plug-ins are not actually required, but you would
have a very un-cool and un-hip web browsing experience without them.

A.K.A. a productive experience.

Presiselie.
I offten find myself browsing with JS disabled and am amused by the
number of websites who's navigation is not accessible at all without
scripting eg, you get a nice blank spot where the navigation should
be.
