Hi,

I would very much appreciate some honest comments and useful
suggestions on the following 2 websites please.

www.ktbb.com

and

ww.kdok.com

I hope it's okay to post 2 at a time - if not please disregard the
second one for now.

It's best to include the protocol ... http://www.ktbb.com/ ... and in your
case you can leave off the host as your domain and server appear to be set
up correctly to respond to ... http://ktbb.com/

I'm not sure why the document uses the xhtml 1.0 doctype - are you?

The text size is specified using units that make it difficult for IE users
(others?) to alter the size to suit the local reading conditions/abilities.
recommendation, body (font-size: 100%

There is javascript in the page - I trust it isn't doing anything important.

I'm not a big fan of tables abused for presentation (and nested tables are
even worse) although I have to acknowledge that three column layouts can be
a challenge.

Take a look at the alt text for dial2.gif - as it is the first text on the
page I suspect it should be a little more useful than "dial" or possibly
absent altogether.

As above (mostly)

When I reduce the width of the window to about 787px, the News Weather
Sports.... thing covers text in the right column. Also, takes a long time to
load on 56K dialup.

I also think that while the page is pretty clean-looking, there is too much
of the outlined box effect. It loses its effect if EVERYTHING uses that
design. I would use a different display style for the poll question section
that's not the same as everything else, for example.

In the right column, I think yuo need some color contrast. These display
devices should be for the purpose of ease of reading, and all of these
outlined boxes are not increasing readability. You want 5-Day Forecast (note
the hypen) to be visually coupled with the table below it, but it isn't now.

Thank you very much William and Bonnie.
