Default Critique for 2 Column Template - 03-07-2007 , 07:00 PM

Hi,

I have been working on a simple 2 column + header + footer template and I
was hoping that the group would apply the blowtorch to its underbelly:

http://people.aapt.net.au/~adjlstrong/template_2.html

I would also be interested to hear some ideas about the worth of creating
such templates. For example:

* There are many and better ones available online?
* It is better for someone to create and understand their own CSS?
* A beginner, who is likely to be looking for a template, could not tell a
good one from a bad one anyway?
* It is usually a pompous way of saying 'Benefit from my huge knowledge of
CSS' and usually demonstrates poor design skills :-)

Thanks for any comments,

Andrew

Looks fine to me. <g> No blowtorch necessary.

One question: why are you mixing sans-serif and serif fonts?

font-family: "Trebuchet MS", Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;

I normally use:

font-family: "Trebuchet MS", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
Hi,

Thanks for that! It is not possible to under-estimate my knowledge of
fonts :-) I will incorporate this advice.

Thanks,

Andrew
