Hiya everyone,

http://hashcomedyforum.ofla.info/

It has no asperations to be anything huge; it's mainly just a place to
stick server downtime notices up. But seeing as I tend to use that vague
sort of design for other sites (see my sig), has anyone got any huge
objections to how anything is done?

Thanks,

Thanks,

A good start:
(a) the text can be re-sized
(b) The browser can be re-sized (3-col flexible design)
(c) It has headings in the mark-up
(d) It validates

The only comments I have is:

(a) When linearized, the pages' main text will be spoken last for users
with a screen-reader/talking browser, so I'd suggest an invisible 'skip
to main content' link at the start of the page.

(b) The form fields could be a bit longer to prevent users having to
scroll to check what they've keyed in.

Good point. I forgot all about that; I've done it before.

Can't do much with the comments box, as that would cause problems in
800x600; but I can shove the text next to the name/email/etc fields
underneath them, and make them larger...

Of course, if the comments box could do with being longer, I could always
get rid of the right-hand column. It's not vital to the story pages
really; just being on the front page is enough.

Thanks for your comments!
