Default Chauffeur Site - 11-05-2004 , 05:35 AM

Time for your criticisms... (and praise if it deserves any!)

http://207.44.242.120/~keith/index.php (Proper domain name yet to be
resolved)

For those of you who checked out my recent Dog Breeding site you will be
pleased to hear that this chauffeur site doesn't have an 'Vrooom Vrooom'
sound effects!

TIA
Al.

I would remove the top banner area - the area with the address and
phones - and retain the second banner area (at the top). Perhaps place
the Jaguar graphic to the right of the yellow "Luxury Transport" graphic.

I would use 4.01 Strict for new documents.

The orange on blue content may be hard to read for some, but I don't
have any better color selections.

alt="about us bullet" should be alt="" (for all non-essential images)

The main menu should be a list <ul><li> instead of a table.

The link to your company attempts to open a new window. Don't do that.

Mark up your footer links as a styled <ul><li> instead.

In the CSS, put font-size: 100%; in the body and don't repeat it
elsewhere. In fact, you have a great mix of ancient HTML
presentational markup and are not using the CSS as it should be used.
The markup is decidedly 1990's.

Then there is of course the .. using tables for presentation
discussion .. that is sure to follow. <g>

Insufficient contrast between text and background colors:

Lighten up the orange or darken the blue background more. Some of both
would be good.

The menu colors don't go with the rest of the color scheme. Too many
different shades of yellow that don't really match.

It looks confused. Like brucie said, it doesn't floooooow.
Thanks.... A colour contrast analyser hey.... I like it!

Hopefully it flows a bit better now and is less confused (which is more
than can be said for me!)
