Hi, I am evaluating a web "lease" solution. It's from the University of Central Florida's Technology Incubator program and recently won "Best of Show" at Internet World Conference for e-commerce. It's for a small to mid-size business with little or no technical staff to be able to manage and update a website easily and affordably. Basically, if you can use MS Word, you can operate your site. There's no software to download; it works thru the Internet Explorer browser. |

I'll be doing "live" requested updates and periodic changes if you want to bookmark and watch awhile. Take a look if you would and let me know what you think: http://digidemo35.digibuildit.net -tim |

I'd take the ftp client anytime! I'll be doing "live" requested updates and periodic changes if you want to bookmark and watch awhile. | Also, Whatever generator you're using has used 495 lines of deprecated code to make a page that could have been written in under 100 lines, and without the need for javascript. I'm certainly impressed, but not in the way you would likely want me to be. |

They would never encounter the term "ftp client" -- they would click a "publish" button instead. |

I'm certainly impressed, but not in the way you would likely want me to be. At the bottom of the home page: "If you have any web experience, this is gonna BLOW YOUR MIND!" Indeed. This is just another fine example of how _not_ to make ausable web page. BTW m, I assume that you included the ~75 spacer.gifs in that bundle of deprecated code. |
