Tanya,

I was unable to correlate the content of the excellent images in the
upper left corner with the content of the site itself.

No matter which category I searched in, and how many 'more...' pages I
went through, I never found anything except "Sponsored links". Are
there no "unsponsored links"?

As far as I could tell, the site has no content of its own, it simply
displays the results of targeted searches. Did I miss something?

The 'Free' category returned many results, none of which seemed to have
anything to do with ASP.

I don't suppose too many folks would go to a site named asptutorial.com
unless they already knew what ASP was, but maybe you could add a
Definition link somewhere, just in case. It would say something like,
"ASP stands for Active Server Pages. It is a Microsoft proprietary
technology for creating web pages dynamically on a suitably equipped
server."

It seem curious that while promoting ASP, you use Perl for your Contact
and Search forms.

Most folks seeking reviews here are presenting work that they have
created themselves. You site seems to have been largely auto-generated
by hitfarm.com, so it's not clear what you hope to learn from us here.

The site uses frames, and provides no recourse for the user whose
environment does not support them. See
http://pages.prodigy.net/chris_beall/TC/Frames.html for more info.

The site makes extensive use of tables for layout. See
http://pages.prodigy.net/chris_beall...%20layout.html for
some reasons why that sometimes isn't a good idea.

Although the site fits within my 640 X 480 screen when the browser
window is maximized, I get a horizontal scroll bar, with text vanishing
off the right side of the screen, if I reduce the window width at all,
so the page design, though suitable for fairly small windows, is fixed,
not fluid. See
http://pages.prodigy.net/chris_beall/TC/You%20don't%20know.html.

Clicking on the result links will open a new window (target="_blank")
which many people find offensive and some prevent via browser settings.
I did not actually test this in my environment, for reasons stated below.

Although CSS is used, it is embedded in each page, an inefficient
method. Instead, consider (though I suspect you have no control over
this) a separate style sheet which is invoked as necessary.

The reason I did not click on any of the result links is that all seemed
to point to sites other than yours, and hence were outside the scope of
the requested review (If, in fact, you really intended such a review).
In addition, the source code leads me to believe that, had I clicked on
these links, the associated site would have been charged for the
opportunity to sell me something, whether I took advantage of that
opportunity or not. Having no interest in ASP, I did not wish to
deceive them on that point, especially with all the buzz lately about
how click-fraud is damaging the pay-per-click industry.
