Taking gratuitous animation and impractical navigation to a whole new
level.
See how long it takes you to find where to buy their products...

OTOH, their pesto sauce itself is delicious - well recommended.

Andy,

Well, it only took me 2 clicks to find out that, in order to find out,
I've got to make an international phone call (um, unless 'give us a
tinkle' refers to collection of a medical sample...). Makes me suspect
they don't have any stalls in upstate New York. Pity, if the pesto is
as good as you say.

I'd have at least let the user return to the Contents without having to
watch the turning of every intervening page.

I think it only took me two _clicks_ too -- but then I had to sit there
and watch the whole damned book flip past! That's the thing that most
annoyed me. I don't even have to do that if it's a real book.

actually you didnt have to watch the whole book flip past because the
address / phone number are on the page opposite the contents page. so the
answer should be 1 click

I was hoping to get a list of local shops that stocked their product.

What I actually received instead was a phone number, where I can phone
them up to ask about local vendors, and to suggest they get themselves
a website to save them having to answer the phone!

Forever.

All I see is a huge image saying I need to install the latest flash.

Ho hum.

I can see all the pages, but I failed to find how I could buy any of
their products.

The site goes so far, and must have involved so much work, in using
unnecessary technology to make information hard to access, that I wonder
if it is a deliberate parody.

Naw, they bought or stole a commercial page turning flash template,
see them all the time. Just provide a few PDF files or graphics and
your done with it. A silly, stupid way to produce what they think is a
really "Kewl" site.

The only good thing I see as they are probably down at the the Mulster
Arms Public House getting soddened... Quite like their website...
