Default WYSIWYG software - 01-05-2009 , 06:20 PM

If you are a beginner, looking for a great software, the you can
hardly do better than 90 Seconds Webdesign.

Vist the site here: http://www.alpha-designs.com/90seconds/index.html

and check it out for yourself. Unfortunately it is not compatible
with
MAC.

Oh yeah, baby!

Shall I mention the horrific code this thing generates? <font> has been
obsolete for years, you know.

I don't see that as unfortunate at all.

At least their home page was valid, even if it was transitional and had
horrible code.

If you wanted to use wysiwyg web design to produce inflexible sites that
break when you change the font magnification, on a Mac you could use
http://www.apple.com/ilife/iweb/ which comes free on with iLife on the
computer. The templates mostly ensure you have a pretty looking site
http://www.iwebusersites.com/Home.html and according to
http://dev.opera.com/articles/view/mama-markup-validation-report/
something like 80% of Apple iWeb sites are even valid (well, if you
ignore things like pretty much every XHTML site actually being invalid
HTML).

Surely there is some program that produces (and is able to maintain)
modern, Strict, valid, flexible web sites that look reasonably
attractive?

I create all my sites useing it (and with the HandCoder extention), I
can use Crimson editor with KZ so I can edit PHP and other files.
