Website feed back wanted

Hello newsgroup,

I have a small commercial (software developer) web page online, using
the YAML layout CSS.

Maybe somebody can take a look and tell me wether navigation is easy or
not, I received a message from a UK prospect who said it was even hard
to find the links to the product order pages - now finally I understand
my low sales

Commercial offerings ok (if not tooo expensive) ...

The entry page is much too detailed. The prices and order pages should
be easy to find.

Many thanks for your feedback! I have cleaned up the entry page a little
bit now (but will work on it more). The missing prices / order page is a
real important point, I have not visited similar pages frequently to see
the 'general rules' for the site layout and navigation - this weekend is
a good opportunity to start

The problem with putting a URL in a signature is that:
1. Conforming news clients strip the signature in a reply, so the URL is
lost
2. Often the URL in a signature is just part of the signature, and
nothing else (like mine), and as such gives no indication that is the URL
in question.

On my system (Opera 10, WinXp, 1024x768), the bulk of the page is below
the fold. Perhaps this is a float issue:

This is a great hint. I have installed a new version of the YAML CSS
layout yesterday and also found later that the left column is too wide.
I will fix it and try some web simulators for other browser models...

Whay is a YAML CSS? And why would you need one?

It looks very much like a pile of junk. Why not just write your own CSS?

This YAML stuff is, like any "library" thing, totally over specified. There
is 30K of CSS on your page. You could do it in two. And if you did it
yourself you would know what is going on, and know what is wrong with it.

Do you mean "other browsers"? Why not just install those other browsers.
They are, after all, free.
