In communication recently with a client it became apparent that our monitors were calibrated quite differently. I'm sure this comes up constantly when any two computer users start trying to describe colors. I use the Adobe Gamma Calibration tool under Win2K to try and maintain a consistent baseline. Is this tool considered an 'industry standard', or is there any way to discuss color intelligently other than than to refer only to RGB codes etc? |
