Here's my new site. I'll appreciate your comments. It should work on any DOM-savvy browsers (tested with Firefox 1, IE 6, Netscape 7, Opera 7.54 on windows xp). medium to broadband is preferable. Yes, your site is useless without Javascript. |

I saw two undecipherable green graphics nestled against each other, with the copyright notice below. No links ... no anything else. |

But I use Firefox with +2 text size so your menu on right does not lookas you would probably wish and the bullets dont line up. I find the scrolling menu a little unsettling and distracting. (it seems bouncy. always moving, although I know it is just catching up to me) I like the concept of the list of works being forced into a line admist the free flow of the art work. Did you try an inset look instead of the on-top look? I also do not use Flash so no sound clips. I dont like reading stuff in a constrained format, so your top text there belongs somewhere else. Changing category title to Sound Experiments would replace most of that text or perhaps Time as Canvas. I didnt hear the sound clips but if possible an image that reflects something about that sound clip instead of sample 1 etc would be much nicer and re-inforce the consistency of look through the categories. Even a sound wave image for each one would be quite effective. along that line, the snapshots should follow the same look of the other ones. The thumbnail on left with a title or description on right. It is just a jumble. Paperwork too much text. Put it with the sample instead of the list. what I am tying to say is the lists for ArtWork and Logotype are most effective and all should follow their lead. What you have here is a menu that shows another menu using images as bullets. You are trying to put too much text into the menu. Add text to the canvas, not the menu. On Screenwork, instead of linking to website, just show a snapshot of the page, with more description and a Go There link to the site. (I often dont want yet another window open, that is why I use tabs in FF.) Be sure and use Alt text and Title attributes for each and every image. They can be very effective. Can use them to provide descriptions and take some of the burden. But I liked your site and your work. Spent a lot of time (for me) with it. cheers johnSteve |

Yes, your site is useless without Javascript. So what you're saying is, you can't use js; the technology is there but, hey, don't take advantage of it. |

So what you're saying is, you can't use js; the technology is there but, hey, don't take advantage of it. It is a usability issue. Some people disable Javascript for security |
