Says who? Is this 'in your experience' or is it based on some proper analysis? on my own stats (for 3 different sites), between 2% and 5%. |

Yes, your site is useless without Javascript. So what you're saying is, you can't use js; the technology is there but, hey, don't take advantage of it. |

I know it does not, but it does not matter since the content is in the page (it is not generated); it just sits on an invisible layers which is shown when it's content is fully loaded. Spiders are not very smart. |
