Firstly, don't respond to my private e-mailbox. You're killfiled in there now. A discussion started in here, stays here. No exceptions. |
|
Secondly, don't be a smartass where you think no one sees it happening. Just fix you faulty mess before asking for a review. |

It is a usability issue. Some people disable Javascript for security reasons. Other "users" are search engines like Google, Inktomi, MSN and Yahoo that by definition do not use Javascript. Then there are the non-visual human users. Javascript can add flash and glitz to a site. But a site's basic usability should not depend on it. -- jmm dash list (at) sohnen-moe (dot) com (Remove .AXSPAMGN for email) |

well, I'm not putting up a search engine. And the number of people who turn off js is minimal. |

Note also that publicly disclosing information sent to you privately without prior approval by the other party is considered extremely bad form. |
|
Regardless of possible prior disrespect by others of your *personal* idea of how people should respond to publicly posted messages. |

No, what is meant is that Google does not run Javascript found on pages it is indexing. If you want Google to find you, don't rely on Javascript. |
|
And the number of people who turn off js is minimal. ...and therefore don't matter? Why, when it is so easy to write sites that don't rely on it, do you not do so? |
