Anything else I should work on?
Have a couple of pixels padding on the columns.

I am top posting for a reason. First off, the website url should be
http://www.hostingforabuck.com ..not .net. I am phasing out the .net one,
and using that only as a backup server. PLEASE check out the.com site and
let me know what you think.

OK ... just a few comments.

General
---------
Looks nice.

Using an image map for navigation may give people problems if they
access your site with 'image download' switched off for whatever reason:
http://www.gododdin.demon.co.uk/ng/HOSTAX.JPG (36k)

The hotspots are still there,
http://www.gododdin.demon.co.uk/ng/HOSTBX.JPG (26k)
but nobody will know about them.

Compare Plans
-----------------
The table mark-up needs to be improved for the benefit of assistive
technologies. i.e. so that the headers get read properly when in 'table
navigation' mode.

Support
---------
I'd suggest making the fields longer so that users don't have to scroll
in order to check what they've keyed in.

Also, you appear to be using structural mark-up in tables used for
layout.

Policies
---------
The 'small print' can't be resized in MSIE.

Also, it's a long document -- but without a single heading (<H1>, <H2>,
etc.). Headings are essential for assistive technology users to
navigate the page; either put in headings, or provide a page index.

Lastly. The link to the home page doesn't work. It should be to
index.htm not index.html.

regards

Just looking a bit further (at the ordering system), it seems there's a
few odds-and-ends that need tidying up:

(a) There's still some images need some alternative text:
http://www.gododdin.demon.co.uk/ng/HOSTDX.JPG (52k)

(b) The missing alternative text gives a problem trying to order
anything:
http://www.gododdin.demon.co.uk/ng/HOSTEX.JPG (51k)

(c) White lettering on a light background is hard to read:
http://www.gododdin.demon.co.uk/ng/HOSTFX.JPG (42k)
BTW. Can't be resized in MSIE

regards.

Note. Don't worry ;-) -- (a) and (b) images snapped from Opera running
a minimised stylesheet.

When linking to the main index file, it's better to use HREF="./"
rather than explicitly giving the filename, so that the link goes
cleanly to the filenameless domain name or subdirectory name, by which
the user probably entered the site in the first place, instead of
adding another entry to the user's browser cache under the name
"index.html" (or whatever).

First off, this is not spam. I am going to roll out this website, and would
like everyone's honest opinion in regards to it. the url is

already receiving a fewtips.
Thanksin advance.

As a designer, I can't figure out what purpose the guys face serves? Is
that you? I can think of MANY, MANY reasons to get rid of it, none to
keep it.

Is this hosting just for young white males? You may be losing a lot of
clients when they see that photo whether they realize it or not. It is
the very first thing your eye jumps to.

Paypal is for 1) e-bayers 2) for people selling plastic flowers
I pay my hosting company through paypal, and if they
wouldn't have paypal, I'd be using a different company.
Am I missing something?

It's the fact that credit card info IS accepted on the site in question
with out a SSL slip. Alternatives include PayPal.

The whole production from technichal to ethical seems it's either a scam
(which I doubt) or run by a very ignorant person(s).

So I did understand it correctly earlier, just got confused
by your "Paypal is for ..." line :-)

If you look at the original post...I stated that I was in the process of
rolling out the site www.hostingforabuck.com , and that I was asking for
critiques on the site itself. After I was blasted and insulted, I had the
code fixed. Then someone created a false account and logged into the
customer area, and then blasted me for asking for credit card
information...on a site that was still in the production phase, and not
live. If the person would have tried to pay via paypal, instead of choosing
the invoicing option, they would have gone to a 404 page...since the site
was not live. I was more concerned about the compatibility of the frontside
pages with the different browsers. I have since removed the lines asking the
credit card information, since that was built in to the program script that
I purchased to automate many of the billing processes for me. And finally, I
am lambasted for using Paypal as one of my payment options. Since "Paypal is
only used by 1) ebayers 2) people selling plastic flowers. Well, I guess you
caught me and found me out...I sell plastic flowers on eBay. If you would
like, I would be happy to create an account for you so you can romp around
the customer area of my website, without you having to fraudulently create a
webhosting order just to see what else is going on my site. Does that sound
acceptable?
