Default simple css tutorial or e-book - 02-13-2005 , 12:38 PM

Hi!
Can anyone suggest a good resource for learning easily and quickly how
to use css efficiently? I know the basics but still have problems
applying them and would appreciate a good tutorial or book with clear
instructions! Thanx

I recommend Elizabeth Castro's book HTML for the World Wide Web for a
starter. Eric Meyer's _Eric Meyer On CSS_ is in essence a collection
of worked examples.

Why on earth did the site owner pick "en" for a subdomain when the
site is in deutsch?

Of course you wouldn't have noticed how contentious this resource has
been, especially in its native habitat.

There may be some useful ideas for those who are expert enough to know
what's wrong with the other parts. But for a complete newbie it was
always rated (and presumably still is - it doesn't look to have caught
up with the new millennium yet) as quite misleading, both in its
content and in the example which it sets by its own markup. (2005 is
no time to start learning table-based layouts).
