Default Shared windows hosting with more than one FTP login? - 02-13-2007 , 11:08 AM

Most of the companies that offer shared windows hosting (godaddy, brinkster,
etc) allow only one ftp login. Does anyone know any hosting companies that
offer more than one ftp login for their Windows plans?

Thanks.

Well actually, they offer multiple FTP logins for their Linux hosting. Is
there techincal reason for not doing the same for Windows?

Not really. You buy one account, you get one ftp username for it.
Plain and simple. You want multiple ftp usernames, buy multiple
accounts on a shared host.

Or setup and run your own server in a colocated facility.

Dreamhost allows a large number of usernames per account, and an
unlimited number of domains and subdomains.

(and I managed to refrain from embedding a referral commission code in
that link... how non-spammy can I get?)
