Any comments regarding design,
Your fonts are too small and you have broken font resizing in IE,
but Moz. 1.7.2 fixes that, though then your pixel perfect design
begins to fall apart.

What's with all the wasted space either side?
When I send my browser thinner I get a blank space on the left
and a huge horizontal scroll bar (As opposed to 'full-screen'
where the horizontal scroll-bar is smaller).

The BG image does not work for me, tiled as it is.
How big is it? It seems to take a long time to appear.

Why remove the underlines from the links, even on hover?
Are you trying to hide them?

..content,
Content is king, but is only as good as the mark-up that underlies
it, since invalid mark-up can kill a browser or destroy the rendering
badly enough to obscure content.

Fix your mark-up.

The pictures are nice.

'The West' of what? We talking western Tanu Tuva?

..etc., are welcome.
No worries.

Why is it so many find this ng to post their works after it is finished,
but they all seem to have trouble to find it and read through about a week
of posts _before_ they even start.

For those foreigners who visit your site you may want to mention that
the site is for the western USA.

The background image is tiled which looks very strange.
The font size is much too small. It is set to 10px which is unreadable
on my monitor (17" 1400x1050). And because you use pixels, IE cannot make
the text larger.

The page has no doctype.
The page fails HTML validation. There are lots of unknown tags (cs....)
and attributes ("cool"?).
The page fails CSS validation.

On other pages, "what's new" for instance, the menu text on the left has
odd vertical bars of varying heights next to the menu items.

Mozilla v1.7

Your site is "East" justified (i.e. to the right) which drew
my attention. Also, black background with dark blue links is
a bad combination. Finally, the font size is too small
