will contrast in a good way with the orange and blue.
I think that in relation to the other points you have raised in your
post you must make friends with colour.
I appreciate this is not a technical response but although people would
like there to be a set of rules with colour there aren't any.
I'm very lucky in that I live in Brighton and we have a palace here
called the Pavilion. I mention this because this very extravagant
building features inside tremendously inventive use of colour. It is
inspirational simply to walk around it and take in the marvellous
creativity of it. In the Regency period in England people were much
less constrained by concerns that they might be breaking some rule or
other than they are today.
