Default Design of my page. - 02-20-2008 , 08:26 PM

Hi,

I would like to receive a feedback concerning the design of my page.
Pleas pay attention that on the top you can see link "design". With
this link you can change the color of the page. Does it help to adjust
the page view to your taste? I also interested in your opinion about
the background.

Thank you.

You forgot the URL again :-)

And what's wrong with the thread you have running over at alt.html?

First, I made some changes.
Second, the discussion on alt.html is already very far from my needs.
Third, here I am interested in design. On alt.html the question was
more general.

Actually I would post my post here from the beginning, but did not
have access to this group at that time.

Please don't use monospace font! Especially ones that can't be rendered
with True Type. Use generic font-families if you must use them at all
(serif, sans-serif, etc).

Also, get rid of the table layout.

The 'design' thing is a bit gimmicky--if you want the user to have the
best experience, let his/her default viewing options be those that are
used. Making them re-select their preferred font colour is rather
pointless. Further, the design page is no where even close to good HTML.
It uses image maps, contains no doctype, etc.

Also, ensure you put a title on each page!

Use a spell checker! e.g., it is interFACE, not interFASE (caps for
empahsis)

Pondering the value of the UIP: http://improve-usenet.org/
UIP is easy to spell, anyway. ;-)
