Odd Site Navigation System

Hi All!

I work for a mid sized university, and we are looking to redo our ITS
pages. One thing I wanted in a new site was a quick, direct, concise
way of navigating through the site. A site that does something like
that is nVidias Driver Download page
(http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp). Please look at it
in IE, it only partially works in moz/netscape. Does anyone know of a
program that would do something similar to this? I would code it
myself, but I am not very proficiant in JS. Thanks!
