I am looking for design ideas for a website that will describe our reading group. Phase One of the site will be pretty static and stable; I just want to communicate the basics about our group: when and where our club meets, how to contact us, what the meeting topics for the next few months are, etc. I'm not sure if we'll ever get to a Phase Two or Phrase Three but, if we do, that might involve a wiki, photographs of club members, etc. But I'm not really concerned about anything beyond Phase One right now. Does anyone have any ideas on a design that will reinforce the themes of reading and discussion of books? We are a general fiction group so we are not focused on a single genre like mystery or fantasy, otherwise I would use the genre as the starting point of a design. In fact, we occasionally do non-fiction books so we aren't even exclusively fiction. I'm afraid my artistic side doesn't include very much in the way of a graphic sense so any suggestions would be appreciated. |
