I've now produced some logos for "Link Stable" (aka "Campaign for Real Hyperlinks"). The first says "Link Stable - Guaranteed!" The second contains the "Link Stable" slogan and a tick, based on the W3C's XHTML and CSS logos. (Before you says anything, yes I know the text isn't anti-aliased properly in the second logo; it's just something I knocked up quickly to demonstrate, not a final product). I've put the logos on my blog at: http://www.zen19725.zen.co.uk/weblog/current.html A permalink to the page is: http://www.zen19725.zen.co.uk/weblog/art_257.html Let me know what you think... |

Looks good :-). I chose "link stable" because it was a lot shorter than "the campaign for real hyperlinks"[1] so it fitted on the logo a lot better |

-- I'm open to alternative suggestions though. Oh, two Ts in Blissett[2], please :-) -- Matt :-) [1] And also because this keeps reminding me of The Campaign For Real Cats, a joke in _The Unadulterated Cat_ by Terry Pratchett. |

My whole point was that "Link Stable" is a new term. This is already called "permalink". Or am I missing something? When I read "Link Stable" I initially did not understand it ![]() |
