Default Draggable Container test - 03-16-2008 , 01:04 PM

I wanted a simple draggable container to replace popup windows. Yes,
clients do want those those reviled creations, and users turn them off.

Here is what I have:

http://websiterepairguru.com/test_drag.html

This seems to work as I wanted in the browsers (FireFox 2.0, IE6,
Opera 9.25 and Safari 3.0.4; all win XP) I've tested.

I'm looking for any quirks or failures in *javascript* enabled browsers.

The immediate end use here will be a popup for a calendar as the
calendar cell can be too crowded.

I see this is not a very active newsgroup and that you posted this weeks
ago. I don't know if you're still looking for answers but here's mine:

WOW! I had no idea Javascript would let you move containers like this. I've
never seen anything like this. For what it's worth, I am using IE7 and your
container works just fine on my Windows XP Pro SP2 machine.
