Default Adding reader comment capability cheaply to my pages? - 01-13-2004 , 06:40 PM

Hello everyone,

I would like to create a small web site with 2-3 new writings per month,
where every reader could add his comment to the bottom of the page, as on
slashdot.com, libertyforum.org, or indymedia.org (pick your favorite)

What would be the cheapest way to add this automated reader feedback
capability? Does any free web-hosting place offers it? (I haven't seen it
yet.) If not, which paid solution would cost the least?

Thank you in advance,
George

Depending on the server used, you might consider using a simplified
"shoutbox" script.
Mine is hosted on Microsoft IIS in classic ASP, but you're welcome to it if
it's any use to you.

Try the shoutbox, it's the same script on different pages. Comments are
stored per page.
